I love to work with writers. I love the collaboration, the tension, the push and pull of creating a rich and compelling story together. Great editing is about recognizing patterns–intentional and unintentional. I act as a mirror and a mentor for my authors as they outline, pitch, overhaul, fine-tune, and market their books.
I started my career as a writer and still regularly pick up the pen, particularly for short-form editorial and feature projects. Having been a magazine producer and editor, I also consult with clients on content strategy, creative development, execution, and organizational capacity building.
